What To Expect

The best care

Welcome

Upon entering our office, you will be welcomed by a member of our staff. We will request you fill out our new patient forms, which provide us with general information about yourself and your condition. We will need to copy your insurance card and driver’s license if applicable.

Consultation
Next you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems and concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic care will help you meet your goals.

Examination
After your consultation, we will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your spinal range of motion, neurologic and orthopedic systems, and postural condition.

Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, we will give you a report of our findings and discuss recommendations for your successful recovery.

Treatment
Patients will generally be provided with their first treatment at the conclusion of the appointment. This may include spinal adjustments, electrical muscle stimulation, and/or soft tissue therapies.

Wellness
Prior to leaving, patients will be instructed on what to do at home to promote healing. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches. At this time you will schedule your next appointment, and pay for services rendered.

Phase 1

In this phase, the main goal is to reduce your symptoms. This may require daily visits, or two or three visits a week.

Phase 2

In this phase, you will not have to get adjusted as often as you did in the relief phase of care. You still may have some flare-ups of your condition in this phase because your body is not completely healed. In this phase, the doctor may give you exercises and/or stretches to do at home.

Phase 3

In this phase, you are just coming in for a routine adjustment to keep your body in optimal condition. By receiving routine chiropractic care, you avoid many aches and pains that many people suffer through. Always remember, it is easier to get a tune up than an overhaul.
